Professional Installation
All of our alarm and CCTV systems are installed by fully-licensed installers. Each of our installers holds licenses such as a full Security License and the Austel Cabling License. All cabling work performed by Ultimate Protection is recorded on a TCA form; this is filed for inspection by the ACA (Australian Communications Authority).
CCTV
A CCTV system is a very effective way to boost the security of your home or business. It enables you to “see” who is at your business or home when you’re not present.
Our CCTV systems are available from basic 4 cameras systems to sophisticated 32-plus camera systems.
There are two main types of CCTV systems in use today:
- IP Network System – This system offers high-quality images via Hi-Resolution cameras. These cameras are connected to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) via a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable.
- HD TVI (Hi-Definition Analogue) – This system type is suited to those on a budget or who have an existing older-style analogue system. High-quality images can be supplied by Hi-Definition cameras via Coax Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable to a hybrid TVI DVR (Digital Video Recorder). TVI (Transport Video Interface) provides images of much higher quality over the older standard analogue cameras.

All of the CCTV systems we install have remote access via Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop or PC (depending on the Internet or 4G access).

The amount of storage you need for your system will depend on the hard drive size. Most DVR / NVR’s can accommodate multiple hard drives for extended storage.
- No Lighting? No problem! With Hikvision’s new “Dark Fighter” camera you can turn night into day. These infra-red cameras enable you to record and access high-quality images both day and night, regardless of the weather conditions.
- No Power? No problem! With a standalone Solar Camera, you don’t need power connected and power outages will not compromise your security system. These units are ideal for areas where AC power is not available and you can transmit video footage to your NVR via Wi-Fi or 4G.
